Hi, I am Nicky Govender, the Director of HotelCoach. I started the business in 2017 to assist accommodation providers become successful online and attract direct bookings. 

I’ve been in the hotel accommodation industry since 1997, having worked with many different size hotels an accommodation providers including some well known international brands such as Hotel Intercontinental, Accor Group, Stamford and many more. I have also worked in the technology space with some of Australia’s leading booking systems. 

To become successful to me would be to see accommodation providers of all hotel sizes accomplish their goals, love their property, be confident to make changes and to make their business profitable.  My goal is to help you achieve it. 

During COVID lockdown in 2020, I decided to start an online tourism directory called Bespoke Spots.  I wanted to assist the tourism industry by creating a page for them to present their property, restaurant or experience to travellers and encourage more direct bookings – linking them to their website page or their social media page.

I am a 45 years old Greek Australian, born in Australia and moved to Barcelona, Spain in 2019 with my husband and two children. I love to bake and cook. It is how I like to relax and try new recipes. I love to read – my favourite authors are Nicky Pellegrino and Deborah Rodriguez. I have recently started learning Fight Park, a great way to relax and learn how to kick boxing.

  • Born in Australia to Greek parents.
  • Married my husband Loushen in 2003 and have been married for 18 years, together for 25 years.
  • I have 2 boys, Kayin who is 16 years old and Ashton who is 11 years old.
  • Started HotelCoach in 2017, when I realised that is what my passion is.
  • Moved to Barcelona, Spain in 2019.  Wanted an adventure and a change of pace.
  • Started Bespoke Spots in 2020
